Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book?
Start by filling in the enquiry form with your wedding date and location. I’ll get back to you via email with my availability. A non-refundable booking fee of £55 is required to secure your date—this also covers the cost of your trial.
How do I book a trial?
I’ll contact you with my trial availability around 3 to 4 months before your wedding. Trials take place at my home studio in Birkenhead.
What products do you use?
My kit includes a range of high-end products carefully selected for bridal makeup, from skin prep to the finishing touches. Brands I use include MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiko Milano, Bobbi Brown, NYX, and NARS.
Do you come to me on the wedding day?
Yes, I will travel to your chosen location on the big day. Travel within 20 miles is complimentary. After that, it's charged at £0.45 per mile.
Do I go last for my makeup?
Ideally, no. Toward the end of the prep, things can get hectic with people arriving and last-minute questions from suppliers or the venue. To keep things relaxed and ensure you enjoy the experience, I recommend scheduling your makeup earlier in the timeline.
Do I need to fake tan?
Totally up to you! If you do choose to tan, I recommend having it done professionally to ensure an even, natural-looking finish—especially avoiding mismatched tones between your face and body.
Will my makeup last all day?
Absolutely! With a tailored skincare routine leading up to the big day, we’ll create the perfect base for long-lasting makeup. The only thing you might need to reapply is your lipstick—I always suggest purchasing the one we use so you can top up throughout the day.
How long does makeup usually take?
I allow approximately 45 minutes per person, with the bride’s makeup taking up to 60 minutes.
